Regal Promise was sold to the Wells Family in NSW in 2003. He is not standing at public stud but his progeny continue to excel in the show rings around Australia. Willowcroft has retained a superb band of young mares by him which are producing brilliantly with Willowcroft Regal Emblem

In 1995 Willowcroft Stud purchased the striking stallion Urubula Regal Promise from Helen Clift.

Promise is a superb pony of exceptional quality, with the most magnificent front, elegant head and correct hindquarters. His movement is breathtaking and very straight, coupled with his delightful temperament.

Full of presence and fun, but not an ounce of dirt, this intelligent stallion is a pleasure to handle in every way. Regal Promise is particularly pre-potent and is already well know for passing on his excellent qualities on to his foals.

He was only shown a few times for Champion Stallion at Sydney Royal, Champion and Supreme at Adelaide Royal. He did not compete at Melbourne Royal because of Stud duties but was awarded Riding Pony of the Year at the Nationals in Victoria in '98

Although Regal Promise is only nine years old his stock are excelling in the show ring, having won major accolades in all mainland states of Australia!

Promise's oldest progeny are only rising six, so it is just recently we have seen them making their debuts under saddle, already with wins in saddle classes at Sydney Royal, Melbourne Royal in the last two years, and he produced the 2000 Victorian Newcomer Large Saddle Pony of the Year and Runner up.

In 2000 Willowcroft Royal Ensign stepped out at the prestige Barastoc Victorian HOY show, producing a foot perfect workout, with stunning extension work to take the title of New Comer Large Pony of the Year. This quality pony was to later impress the international judge to win the International title as well.
