Willowcroft Stud is opening to the public on Sunday, 12 April, 2009 between 11am and 3pm. A stallion and weanling parade will be the highlight of the day along with the chance to view some sensational ponies. |

Amanda Jefferys, the owner of Willowcroft Stud, says, ”This is a great opportunity for people to view our quality show stock in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the pressures of the show ring.” The picturesque 50 acre property, home to the internationally-acclaimed Willowcroft Riding Pony Stud is located in Martinsville, a comfortable 1 hour drive along the F3 freeway, north of Sydney. Managed in collaboration with Amanda’s daughter, Haley, the stud is a real family affair. Haley has previously worked on several thoroughbred studs and handles the valuable riding ponies at Willowcroft including the exquisitely beautiful Willowcroft Regal Emblem. Known as Jimmy to his friends, the stallion has sired many champions in the show ring including Willowcroft American Beauty, Diridgeree Park Regal Minetta, the highly performed galloway Willowcroft Miss Money Penny and Ke-Anbree De Ja Vu. No doubt Willowcroft Stud will be well represented at Sydney Royal Show this year. The stallions will be paraded at 12pm, including a preview of Willowcroft Regal Alliance, the new addition to the stud lineup. This will be followed by a selection of outstanding Royal quality weanlings from the 2008 crop of foals. Amanda and Haley are proud to say that these babies are among the best ever bred by Willowcroft. Light refreshments will be provided during the afternoon.
